Discovery Cove in Orlando, FL – A different kind of water park

On a recent trip to Orlando, FL, we crossed “Visiting Discovery Cove” off our travel bucket list. The water park, owned by Sea World, is amazing. There are no water slides or wave pools. But you will get to swim with dolphins and sharks and enjoy upclose animal encounters. And you will enjoy swimming warm heated tropically themed pools and floating through a somewhat lazy river. This is a water park like none we have ever seen. But it is also pretty expensive. Is it worth the price? What is included in a day at Discovery Cove? Check out our video to see the highlights and hear our reaction to an experience we have been wanting to check out for quite some time.

Our friends and sometimes travel partners CJ & Melissa allowed us to use their pictures in this video. We appreciate it! Traveling is better with good friends!
